I have never considered myself a good user of the English language, so writing the IELTS examination was an Achilles task for me. Prior to my examination I was very anxious and skeptical about booking for the exam. Fortunately I was referred to Nurse Joy who did a great work in simplifying the IELTS, her teaching skills coupled with her reassuring words really encouraged me to write the exam. All Glory to God, I aced it.

I had 8.5, 8.0, 6.5, 7.0 in the listening, reading, writing and speaking test respectively.

Attending Madam Joy’s classes was one of the best decisions I made. I was able to pass the IELTS exam on my first try. The class was spread out for one month, twice-weekly, and we had a mock test at the end of each session. Also, she kept us on our toes by giving us questions at the end of each class, and she listens to everyone's answer and gives feedback towards the end of each class.

If you want to pass on your first try as I did, your best option is Madam Joy. She is patient and is always available for questions and corrections.

I had always been afraid of the ‘almighty’ IELTS before meeting Joy.

One major challenge I had was the unavailability of a physical IELTSs tutorial in my location. I came across Joy’s class and joined a few sessions. I found the sessions really interesting and straightforward. She demystifies the exam and make it seem like adding one plus one to make two, and trust me, distance is not a barrier as the virtual class is as good as having a physical class.

I aced my exam in one sitting with an overall band of 7.5. I wish you all the best as you sign up for the class.
